WEEK 3 : PRACTICE TEACHING PHASE 2

DAY 9 ( 26/06/2023) I reached the school at 8 am. I marked the attendance. Today was World Drug Day. As part of that we gave conscientisation to the students of 7th standard. Also conducted a poster making competition. I had class at 8th standard in the 4th period and taught about handicrafts and occupational groups of river valley civilization. In the 8th standard class I found the need to improve my voice modulation and also a need to increase the number of group activities.
DAY 10 ( 27/06/2023) Today I reached the school at 8 am. I marked the attendance. I didn't have classes to teach today. I got substitution in the 7th period at 7C. I made them read their social science textbook as they were having a testpaper in the next period. At 3 pm, I left the school. DAY 11( 30/06/2023) I reached the school at 8 am. I marked the attendance.I didn't have any substitutions today. I left the school at 3 pm. This week was very fruitful as we were able to give a conscientisation program to children against drugs and also we conducted poster making competition against drug abuse.

DAY 4 (19/06/2023) I Reached school at 8:30 am and marked the attendance. I had classes at 8A. In the 4th period I taught at 8A. In 8A I taught them the features of the cities of Harappa.The students enjoyed the class and the activities. I should improve my skill of questioning and also my class management skills. DAY 35 (07/08/2023) Today I had to take demonstration class at college for my juniors. I had to take the topic on the legislature and I had to take it using the Advance organiser model. This was my second demo class. I have already taken a class on social problems to the students previously, before the stat of the internship. After the class I went straight back to the school. I reported at the school at 11 am. After that I had a usual day. I left the school at 3 pm. DAY 36 (08/08/2023) I reached the school at 8 am. I marked the attendance. I conducted diagnostic test in the 8th period in 8th standard.I had substitution at 6A, 7G and 3F in the 4th, 5th and 6th periods respectively. PRACTICE TEACHING PHASE 2 -DAY 18 INNOVATIVE WORK

I reached at the school at 8 am. I marked the attendance. I had class today in the morning at 8th standard in the third period. I started with the new chapter Our Government and taught them about the legislature of our nation. I was able to present my innovative work to the students of the class. INTRODUCTION An innovative work can be defined as a " new idea, device or method". It is something original and more effective and as a consequence new that 'breaks into' the pupil . Two interesting dimensions of innovation including degree of novelty and type of innovation. Innovative work should be a catalyst to growth . Innovation may be linked to positive changes in efficiency, productivity, quality, competitiveness and intellectual development.
