Our Talent Hunt

Today was surely one of the most beautiful days in my life, memorable and blissful. I still remember the first day at MTTC, when I had no clue about how I will survive my college days, how to make new friends, and how to stick together and do the activities. But today I got an answer to all my doubts, we have been practicing really hard for weeks for this day, our talent hunt day. 

I was tensed, anxious, happy excited all at the same time. I was going to sing, dance, and say a vote of thanks. It's been years since I have done all this at once. This opportunity was a blessing in disguise where we were able to know each other. We understood what we like, what we don't like, our ideas, thoughts, and whatnot, we became a family. It's funny to think about how people change from being complete strangers to family, without even us noticing. 

Today first hour was taken by Dr.Maya ma'am and the second hour was taken by Shafi sir. Then we went for our talent hunt practice. It was in the afternoon that we had the talent hunt of Malayalam and social science optional. We did a skit named 'Behind The Scenes', in which we included solo songs, duet, group songs, dance and we had a blast. 

The interesting yet sad part was that our program was not flawless, we faced every sort of technical issue and we thought to ourselves why this was happening to us. But one thing we learned from each other was, we never gave up, we continued the program. We didn't blame anyone, we didn't become frustrated, we ended our program as a great success.

Standing on the stage and performing there with my family, I knew right then and there that I will not forget this day, this moment, we were all present there completely. This wouldn't have been possible with my friends turned into family beside me.

After our program, Dr. Joju sir appreciated our efforts and gave us suggestions for improvement in the future.
