The Guru Gopinath Natanagramam is a cultural institution functioning under the Department of Culture, Government of Kerala. It was started in 1994 under the Travancore-Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act of 1955 as per the directions in Government Order (GO) M.S. The center, named after the late Dr. Guru Gopinath, a pioneer reformer of Kathakali dance, was established in Vattiyoorkavu, a suburb of the capital city of Thiruvananthapuram.

The Guru Gopinath Natanagramam has been established as a center for learning, training, and research in various Indian Dance forms, particularly Kerala Natanam, the dance form composed by the maestro Guru Gopinath. The institution carries on the attempts initiated by the Guru to popularise the dance forms of Kerala and to find fresh talents.
Pioneering the training and development of the Kerala Natanam style of dancing, promoting all Indian classical and folk dance forms, and setting up of audiovisual library and research center, organizing dance festivals are the other aims of the society. It conducts a free training program for the needy and talented students from the Government Schools in Trivandrum.
It was a wonderful experience visiting the place, we all enjoyed a lot and will always cherish the moments we had there.
