Importance of the Week

The day started with a prayer in the chapel. The first hour is optional. Then next hour we had Maya ma'am class. We continued our seminar session, on the topic of corruption, its type, causes, etc. We discussed this topic in a very friendly manner in the classroom. It was very interesting and very informative. After lunch, the Natural science optional students conducted a program to provide awareness about the importance of the week. Important days in the week include World Water day, Forest day, Meteorological day, and World Tuberculosis day. The function starts at 2. 30 pm. We start our program by playing a video as a message for the protection of our earth. Speech on the importance of the day was delivered by Arsha, Shilpa, and Karishma, and we also played a video that we shot on our field visit day to Sambranikodi for the conservation of water. We also conducted a quiz session in which all actively participated and the gifts are distributed by Maya ma'am and Shiny ma'am. Functions end with the National anthem.

DAY 4 (19/06/2023) I Reached school at 8:30 am and marked the attendance. I had classes at 8A. In the 4th period I taught at 8A. In 8A I taught them the features of the cities of Harappa.The students enjoyed the class and the activities. I should improve my skill of questioning and also my class management skills. WEEK 9 : PRACTICE TEACHING PHASE 2

DAY 35 (07/08/2023) Today I had to take demonstration class at college for my juniors. I had to take the topic on the legislature and I had to take it using the Advance organiser model. This was my second demo class. I have already taken a class on social problems to the students previously, before the stat of the internship. After the class I went straight back to the school. I reported at the school at 11 am. After that I had a usual day. I left the school at 3 pm. DAY 36 (08/08/2023) I reached the school at 8 am. I marked the attendance. I conducted diagnostic test in the 8th period in 8th standard.I had substitution at 6A, 7G and 3F in the 4th, 5th and 6th periods respectively. PRACTICE TEACHING PHASE 2 -DAY 18 INNOVATIVE WORK

I reached at the school at 8 am. I marked the attendance. I had class today in the morning at 8th standard in the third period. I started with the new chapter Our Government and taught them about the legislature of our nation. I was able to present my innovative work to the students of the class. INTRODUCTION An innovative work can be defined as a " new idea, device or method". It is something original and more effective and as a consequence new that 'breaks into' the pupil . Two interesting dimensions of innovation including degree of novelty and type of innovation. Innovative work should be a catalyst to growth . Innovation may be linked to positive changes in efficiency, productivity, quality, competitiveness and intellectual development.
