WEEK 2: PRACTICE TEACHING PHASE 2

DAY 4 (19/06/2023) I Reached school at 8:30 am and marked the attendance. I had classes at 8A. In the 4th period I taught at 8A. In 8A I taught them the features of the cities of Harappa.The students enjoyed the class and the activities. I should improve my skill of questioning and also my class management skills. I went for substitution to5c and 4B in the 6th and 7th period. After signing the register we left the school at 3: 00 pm. The speciality of the say was Schola Brevis 2023-2024. Schola Brevis 2023 - '24 Let today be the start of a fresh chapter. Schola Brevis, the official inauguration of the academic activities of Sarvodaya Vidyalaya marks a momentous occasion in the beginning of a new era on the academic excellence of the institution. It serves as a testament to the commitment of the entire school community to provide a nurturing and inspiring environment for learning and personal development. With its ceremonial elements, Schola Brevis sets the stage for an exciting and transformative educational journey that will shape the lives of the students and contribute to a brighter future for all.
DAY 5(20/06/2023) I reached the school at 8 am. I marked the attendance. Today I had substitution at 7B in the 3rd period and 4F in the 8th period. I engaged the students by playing various games with them. I also gave them General Knowledge questions. After that I had class in the 5th period at 9A and I taught them, about the Eastern Cities. The students loved the quiz conducted at the end. I should improve my voice modulation. The day was a memorable one. I left the school at 3 pm. DAY 6 (21/06/2023) I reached the school at 8 am. I marked the attendance. Today I had classes at 8A and 9A. At 8A in the 3rd period and in 9th A in the 7th period. In 8A I taught about Granary and Agriculture and about trade. In 9A I taught them about The Guilds. The classes were taken by linking them with the day to day lives of the students. All the students cooperated well I could have improved my closure. Today I didn't have any substitutions. Overall today I had a good experience at the school. I marked the attendance at 3pm and left the school. DAY 7(22/06/2023) I reached the school at 8 am. I marked the attendance. Today I didn't have class to take. I had substitution classes at 9A, 9D, 4G and 5E in the 4th, 5th, 6th and 8th periods. I engaged the students by telling stories, making them play games and at 5E I was assigned to dictate Social Science notes. Overall it was a wonderful day. I left the school at 3 pm. DAY 8 (23/06/2023) I reached the school at 8 am. I marked the attendance. I had class at 9 A. Today was the inauguration of the arts and literart club. I taught about medieval education. I was able to complete within the time limit. I should improve my blackboard writing skill. I should also give more reinforcements to the class. Group activities given were also very apt. It was a wonderful day. We left the school ate 3 pm.
I am filled with gratitude for the insights gained and look forward to applying them in my future as an educator, eager to make a lasting impact in the lives of my students.

DAY 35 (07/08/2023) Today I had to take demonstration class at college for my juniors. I had to take the topic on the legislature and I had to take it using the Advance organiser model. This was my second demo class. I have already taken a class on social problems to the students previously, before the stat of the internship. After the class I went straight back to the school. I reported at the school at 11 am. After that I had a usual day. I left the school at 3 pm. DAY 36 (08/08/2023) I reached the school at 8 am. I marked the attendance. I conducted diagnostic test in the 8th period in 8th standard.I had substitution at 6A, 7G and 3F in the 4th, 5th and 6th periods respectively. PRACTICE TEACHING PHASE 2 -DAY 18 INNOVATIVE WORK

I reached at the school at 8 am. I marked the attendance. I had class today in the morning at 8th standard in the third period. I started with the new chapter Our Government and taught them about the legislature of our nation. I was able to present my innovative work to the students of the class. INTRODUCTION An innovative work can be defined as a " new idea, device or method". It is something original and more effective and as a consequence new that 'breaks into' the pupil . Two interesting dimensions of innovation including degree of novelty and type of innovation. Innovative work should be a catalyst to growth . Innovation may be linked to positive changes in efficiency, productivity, quality, competitiveness and intellectual development. Through innovative work the teacher can improve students performance by providing group work opportunities and resources to innovate.
