WEEK 8 : PRACTICE TEACHING PHASE 2

DAY 30 (31/07/2023) I reached the school at 8am. I marked the attendance. I didn't have any classes to teach today. I had substitution at 9A in the 3rd period and in 5I in the seventh period. In 9A I was assigned with exam duty. In 5I in Alphonsa Block I conducted a quiz. I left the school at 3 pm.
DAY 31 (1/08/2023) I reached the school at 8am. I marked the attendance. I didn't have any classes to teach today. I had substitution class at 8E in the 5th period and 4H in the 8th period. I left the school at 3 pm. DAY 32 ( 2/08/2023) I reached the school at 8 am. I conducted the achievement test today in the 8th standard. I left the school at 3 pm. DAY 33 (3/08/2023) I reached the school at 8am. I had substitution at 3F and 2D in the 5th and 7th period respectively. I left the school after marking attendance at 3 pm. DAY 34 (4/07/2023) I reached the school at 8am. I had substitution at 6 A. I managed the class by using a film clipping explanation on social problems. I left the school after marking attenance at 3 pm. As, It was getting closer to the end of practice teaching I felt sad, I will always be greatful for the opportunity to teach in this school. It was indeed a privilege and I will always take the lessons I learned from here for my future as well.

DAY 35 (07/08/2023) Today I had to take demonstration class at college for my juniors. I had to take the topic on the legislature and I had to take it using the Advance organiser model. This was my second demo class. I have already taken a class on social problems to the students previously, before the stat of the internship. After the class I went straight back to the school. PRACTICE TEACHING PHASE 2 -DAY 18 INNOVATIVE WORK

I reached at the school at 8 am. I marked the attendance. I had class today in the morning at 8th standard in the third period. I started with the new chapter Our Government and taught them about the legislature of our nation. I was able to present my innovative work to the students of the class. INTRODUCTION An innovative work can be defined as a " new idea, device or method". It is something original and more effective and as a consequence new that 'breaks into' the pupil . Two interesting dimensions of innovation including degree of novelty and type of innovation. Innovative work should be a catalyst to growth . Innovation may be linked to positive changes in efficiency, productivity, quality, competitiveness and intellectual development. DAY 4 (19/06/2023) I Reached school at 8:30 am and marked the attendance. I had classes at 8A. In the 4th period I taught at 8A. In 8A I taught them the features of the cities of Harappa.The students enjoyed the class and the activities. I should improve my skill of questioning and also my class management skills. I went for substitution to5c and 4B in the 6th and 7th period. After signing the register we left the school at 3: 00 pm. The speciality of the say was Schola Brevis 2023-2024.
