PRACTICE TEACHING PHASE 1 - DAY 1

Our school internship phase 1 as part of 3rd semester started from this day onwards. We, the group of 12 student teachers from 6 optional were allotted to Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, Nalanchira. We reached the school at 8:00 am and had a brief meeting with the principal and submitted our attendance register. The room we were allotted to stay during teaching phase were shown and we went to our respective classes. I was assigned to class 9A. I met with my teacher, Shaiji ma'am and signed my record and aids. I taught the chapter social problems at 9A. I was assigned with substitutions. 6th period I had substitution at 2A and I engaged the class with some games. 8th period I had substitution at 6C and as they had previously assigned works, I helped them with the same. Last period I had substitution at 4
G and they carried out their assigned work. The classes ended at 3:00pm and we left at 3:30pm.

DAY 4 (19/06/2023) I Reached school at 8:30 am and marked the attendance. I had classes at 8A. In the 4th period I taught at 8A. In 8A I taught them the features of the cities of Harappa.The students enjoyed the class and the activities. I should improve my skill of questioning and also my class management skills. I went for substitution to5c and 4B in the 6th and 7th period. After signing the register we left the school at 3: 00 pm. The speciality of the say was Schola Brevis 2023-2024. WEEK 9 : PRACTICE TEACHING PHASE 2

DAY 35 (07/08/2023) Today I had to take demonstration class at college for my juniors. I had to take the topic on the legislature and I had to take it using the Advance organiser model. This was my second demo class. I have already taken a class on social problems to the students previously, before the stat of the internship. After the class I went straight back to the school. I reported at the school at 11 am. After that I had a usual day. I left the school at 3 pm. DAY 36 (08/08/2023) I reached the school at 8 am. I marked the attendance. I conducted diagnostic test in the 8th period in 8th standard.I had substitution at 6A, 7G and 3F in the 4th, 5th and 6th periods respectively. PRACTICE TEACHING PHASE 2 -DAY 18 INNOVATIVE WORK

I reached at the school at 8 am. I marked the attendance. I had class today in the morning at 8th standard in the third period. I started with the new chapter Our Government and taught them about the legislature of our nation. I was able to present my innovative work to the students of the class. INTRODUCTION An innovative work can be defined as a " new idea, device or method". It is something original and more effective and as a consequence new that 'breaks into' the pupil . Two interesting dimensions of innovation including degree of novelty and type of innovation. Innovative work should be a catalyst to growth . Innovation may be linked to positive changes in efficiency, productivity, quality, competitiveness and intellectual development. Through innovative work the teacher can improve students performance by providing group work opportunities and resources to innovate.
