PRACTICE TEACHING PHASE 2 - DAY 27

Today was the first day of Sarvotsavam, the youth festival 2023 of Sarvodaya Vidyalaya. All of us were assigned with duties at various venues. We reacher and marked attendance at 8 am. I was assigned duty at venue 5 , Audio visual room. The programs were Elocution malayalam, Extempore malayalam, Recitation malayalam, Declamation malayalam and debate malayalam. We left the school after 5: 30 pm. Overall it was a wonderful experience and opportunity.

DAY 4 (19/06/2023) I Reached school at 8:30 am and marked the attendance. I had classes at 8A. In the 4th period I taught at 8A. In 8A I taught them the features of the cities of Harappa.The students enjoyed the class and the activities. I should improve my skill of questioning and also my class management skills. I went for substitution to5c and 4B in the 6th and 7th period. After signing the register we left the school at 3: 00 pm. The speciality of the say was Schola Brevis 2023-2024. WEEK 9 : PRACTICE TEACHING PHASE 2

DAY 35 (07/08/2023) Today I had to take demonstration class at college for my juniors. I had to take the topic on the legislature and I had to take it using the Advance organiser model. This was my second demo class. I have already taken a class on social problems to the students previously, before the stat of the internship. After the class I went straight back to the school. I reported at the school at 11 am. After that I had a usual day. I left the school at 3 pm. DAY 36 (08/08/2023) I reached the school at 8 am. I marked the attendance. I conducted diagnostic test in the 8th period in 8th standard.I had substitution at 6A, 7G and 3F in the 4th, 5th and 6th periods respectively. PRACTICE TEACHING PHASE 2 -DAY 18 INNOVATIVE WORK

I reached at the school at 8 am. I marked the attendance. I had class today in the morning at 8th standard in the third period. I started with the new chapter Our Government and taught them about the legislature of our nation. I was able to present my innovative work to the students of the class. INTRODUCTION An innovative work can be defined as a " new idea, device or method". It is something original and more effective and as a consequence new that 'breaks into' the pupil . Two interesting dimensions of innovation including degree of novelty and type of innovation. Innovative work should be a catalyst to growth . Innovation may be linked to positive changes in efficiency, productivity, quality, competitiveness and intellectual development.
